TEA2 Architects - Shingle Style

This home was designed for an owner with a tight budget. We solved this by our approach to both the planning and the character. We were able to create a plan that was "tight", efficient, and compact while maintaining a spacious feel. The living spaces open to each other and are filled with natural daylight.
The exterior character was created with simple, strong forms and economical shingle siding and detailing. The interior character of light and openness was balanced with textured plaster walls, natural wood floors, wood doors and cabinets, and stained-glass windows. All accomplished without outstripping the budget.
