This home creates an outdoor "room" between the L-shaped home and the carriage house. This "room" creates a unique and inviting experience for the visitor. The house is designed around the main Living space that is positioned to take advantage of access to the courtyard, South light, and the view of the pond to the North. The primary garage was positioned so its back would create an ivy-wrapped edge leading the visitor to the front door.
