Prairie Style Makeover
Edina, MN
This late-60's home had many problems: a leaky flat roof, plywood siding, the Dining and Entry ceilings were only 8 feet high. The Living room, Dining room, and Eating area were too small for the house.
The solution was to expand the house over the garage (to the left) and to relocate the powder room. This provided more space for the Entry, Living, and Dining rooms. The roof/ceiling was raised in the center and a standing seam, copper roof added over the entire home. The plywood siding was replaced with stucco.
